University of Nebraska, Lincoln Bands Venues Stores Eat & Drink Around Town
Eat & Drink
Yia Yia's Pizza
1423 O St.

Located in downtown Lincoln just across the street from Duffy's and the Zoo Bar, Yia Yia's Pizza boasts an impressive interior and pizza that bands clamor for when passing through the capital city. Huge French-inspired posters adorn the walls and art denotes which sex should use what bathroom. But perhaps the most impressive thing about Yia Yia's is its selection of beers and ingredients for its pizzas: More than 350 beers from around the world are available, and pizza ingredients include almonds, broccoli and cream cheese.

Cliff's Lounge
1323 O St.

While Cliff's doesn't provide live musical entertainment, it’s a popular stop for locals and tourists alike with its collection of more than 70 different kamikazes. The drinks, served in a pint glass with more alcohol than should be allowed by law, can only be consumed by drinkers with strong stomachs, and even for those folks, only one or two can be consumed before the bar usually says “no more.” Recently relocated to O Street, the bar went through a massive redecoration and now looks like it wouldn't be out of place in a spot like Las Vegas. -- Jeremy Buckley
