The Philadelphia Music Alliance maintains the Walk of Fame, a series of 106 commemorative plaques honoring Philadelphia-area musicians who have made significant contributions to the music world. The walk celebrates artists from the days of early jazz and blues to hip-hop, funk, and rock music, and visitors will recognize names like Marian Anderson, John Coltrane, and Patti Labelle, as well as industry greats like Kenneth Gamble.
